COACHES

RYAN MOUNCE
HEAD COACH
Ryan Mounce played basketball under Loara’s Ed Prange and Tustin’s Richard Bossenmeyer at Orange High School. He received a Political Science degree from Cal State Fullerton in 1994. Coach Mounce thanks Tim Tivenan for the opportunity to learn and be mentored by such a good man of character. “He taught me things that went well beyond basketball.”
Coach Mounce is in his 32nd year coaching basketball. He loves the game to its core. His goal is to teach young men the game and at the same time teach them about life. The game is so special. The game teaches one how to deal with adversity. Nothing is guaranteed. The relationships that have been forged will last forever. “I am so blessed to teach and coach in a community as special as this one.“

muneer saied
assistant varsity coach
Hi, I’m Coach Muneer Saied and this will be my 8th year coaching at EDHS. I work with students with special needs and behavioral development in the Brea-Olinda School District. Basketball has always been an escape and guide on how to get through adversity in life and I intend to show my players this year how to use basketball as a tool in school, relationships, as well as self-development. Let’s have a great year. GO HAWKS!
